I guess what I'm most disappointed about is how some institutions feel its right to dictate the definition of art. I don't so much have a problem with a gallery rejecting a piece because it doesn't suit the space, or even because the curator just doesn't like the work. What I don't like is an institution deciding something like textiles doesn't classify as art.
